JET FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Jet fuel produced in the refinery goes a clay filter which seperates solid particules from fuel. It passes the Filter water seperator for removal of water and particulates. After fuel has been transferred to an intermediate depot, it again goes through a filter water seperator. Fuel from intermediate depot is transferred to airport terminal by road tankers, by barges and by railway.

Before fuel enters the storage tanks of the airport depot it again goes through filtering. (FWS and/or microfilters). Fuel from the airport terminal is transferred to the aircraft whether by refullers or through hydrant system by dispensers.
